Trends in methodological approaches in Smart Tools for Intelligent Community: TOGA Framework

In the Intelligent Community the necessity and the importance of the creation of some conceptual patterns for the modeling of „intelligent” systems are recognized. Taking under consideration this needs, the possible development of Smart Tools for Intelligent Community is analyzed. In this context, the work is focused on the new trends in the methodological approaches to the design of Intelligent Decision Support Systems (IDSS). IDSS technology has been recognized as applicable and useful for the construction of the Smart Tools for Intelligent Community. The suggested strategy is illustrated by the research results available in the subject matter literature and is based on the synthesis of the papers written by A.M. Gadomski After an introduction regarding the problem context and its key concepts, the next section is a short description of the top-down and bottom-up methodological principles in the design of a decision support and IDSS systems. The forth section makes in evidence fundamental elements of the problem integrating Top-down Object-based Goal-oriented Approach (TOGA) Methodology. The last section summarizes the presented theoretical background, and basic methodological steps for the development of Smart Tools for Intelligent Community are recommended.
